The manager, staff and committee work effectively together to ensure the smooth efficient running of the pre-school.  Their dedication and commitment underpin the success of the provision, staff work closely with parents to build strong relationships with them.  Sharing of information means children’s needs are known and met

"Children thoroughly enjoy their time in the pre-school and enthusiastically take part in the wide range of practical activities and experiences provided"

2007 "Children are well cared for and supported by qualified and knowledgeable staff who understand child development."

2004/2005

 

“The quality of teaching at Eastfield Community Pre-school is very good, staff work well together and plan and provide a variety of interesting and stimulating activities for the children and respond well to children’s individual needs. Staff, are deployed effectively, actively promoting equality of opportunity, they support children and value their ideas and positive relationships have been established"

The above statement was written in our last full Ofsted report  after inspection in May 2004.

Since that time the Pre-school has also gained Accredited status with the Pre-school Learning Alliance, for achieving high standards of care and education for children under five years of age. (February 2005)
